Tramari by Paul Kremer is the result of a virtuous encounter between two realities, united by a vision of simplicity and elegance of style and language. Hovering between art and wine, Tramari Rosé di Primitivo San Marzano becomes a canvas for the world-famous American painter Paul Kremer, creating a Limited Edition of the bottle in a conceptual, minimalist style.

A narrow depiction between the corners of a frame, Tramari by Paul Kremer. Like our land between the seas, a work enclosed between beginning and end.

The painter, Paul Kremer

Born in Chicago in 1971, he is a renowned American minimalist painter.
His distinctive style, achieved by working with the traditional techniques of acrylic on canvas or paper, oscillates between flat abstraction and illusionistic geometry, evoking monumental architecture and sections of glaciers. Kremer’s ability to combine abstraction and the everyday enables him to capture the feelings and emotions that arise from everyday life.
His paintings have been exhibited in Paris, New York, Brussels, Miami, Milan, Los Angeles and Turin. He lives and works in Houston, Texas.

Tramari Rosé di Primitivo

On balance “between the seas” (in Italian “Tra i Mari”), a rosé that is elegant and light, sophisticated yet casual, produced in the sunshine of the Salento summers. On the palate, our flowers and a saline note that brings us back to the jagged and sandy coast. Made entirely from Primitivo grapes. Soft pink, hints of cherry and raspberry.

The meeting between San Marzano and Paul Kremer, the collaboration with Studio Cromie

Gallery owner Angelo Milano (#STUDIOCROMIE) triggered the dialogue between San Marzano and the US painter, which began in 2019: Tramari Rosé di Primitivo was the focus of the meeting and triggered the creative process of the American painter.
The result was the creation of a canvas inspired by Tramari and its transposition onto the label of the San Marzano rosé, a privileged medium, creating an exclusive Limited Edition of the product.
Paul Kremer, through his art, represented the affinities of vision and style of the protagonists of this experiment.

Valuable collaborations with our partners support the project: Fedrigoni SA, Fedrigoni Paper, Fabriano and Tonutti Grafiche. Their materials and workmanship enabled the creation of stylish packaging, giving us the opportunity to embellish the product and its packaging.

TramArt: wine and art

Paul Kremer’s Tramari is the first chapter of TramArt: a San Marzano Wines project that aims to be a container for art and beauty, with the intention of pursuing the idea that ART is a free association of forms and meanings, creativity and aesthetic taste. Promoting the spontaneous union that exists between art and wine, TramArt tells their story in chapters.

Be it a painting or a poem, a sculpture or a solo guitar, the work of art has a value that surpasses the limits of its space and time, breaking down the boundaries of every frame. The work of art is the gift that the author offers to the world without schemes or prejudices. The medium can be canvas or paper, ceramic or wood, concrete or glass. The result is an image, sound or melody capable of expressing dimensions and perceptions without boundaries or spaces. With no beginning nor end.
