Calce Spumante Metodo Classico Brut
Lime (Calce in Italian), sun stone polished by the wind. Alchemy of a rock gathered from the earth, melted by fire and shaped according to art and ingenuity.
From a land of sand and shells, a traditional method Spumante with fruity and mineral scents. A fine perlage and the fragrance of a long fermentation on the lees.
Characteristics
Chardonnay
Fermented in the bottle and aged for over 36 months on selected yeasts
Brilliant straw-yellow colour, remarkably fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is intense, of fine quality, and marked elegance; the unmistakable varietal notes stand out, like broom flowers, exotic fruit, and fresh citrus; in the background, a distinct fragrance given by ageing on the lees. A tangy, savoury note accompanies the entire sip, enhanced by the gentle prickle of the bubbles and balanced by a caressing softness.
A wine suited to highlight the freshness of light appetisers, first courses featuring fish or shellfish with citrus-based sauces. It also pairs well with crudités served with delicate sauces, vegetable-based dishes, or fresh cheeses. Serve at: 6°C
