Amai Susumaniello Rosé Salento IGP

In the memory of our vine growers the old Susumaniello vines grew alongside them. With them they have reached maturity, leaving the exuberance of youth behind. From a grape that gets its highest winemaking potential with age, a rosé with a fresh, lively appearance and bouquet and an eloquent balance on the palate between slight warmth and acid/mineral notes.

Characteristics

Susumaniello

In steel for a minimum of 3 months

A soft pink colour of a beautiful vivacity that presages a fresh and multifaceted bouquet: wild flowers, small red fruits, blood orange, undertones of Mediterranean scrub with light notes of green tea and acacia honey. The palate is fine and elegant, with an excellent balance between slight warmth and acid/mineral notes.

A wine of a certain versatility, it goes well with lightly structured dishes of land-based cuisine as well as with seafood and vegetarian dishes. It also pleasantly accompanies an aperitif with cheeses and cured meats of light seasoning and flavour.
