Susumaniello is a grape variety that has a withdrawn character. That is why it is called \u201cSusco\u201d, which translates into \u201cshy\u201d in the local dialect. The distinctive high-youthful yield of the vine drastically drops as the plant ages. Due to its low productivity when old, it had been set aside in the past but lately it has been revaluated for single variety wines. It gives wines a lively colour, complex bouquet and elegant tannins.<\/p>\n
